In the village of aligned grass-thatched houses, the proximity allowed for an intimate understanding of one another's lives. The symphony of snoring that emanated from next door was a nightly lullaby, accompanied by the soft glow of the tin kerosene lamp, casting dancing shadows on the earthen walls. As the sun broke through the horizon, wisps of smoke began to fill the air. Despite the watery eyes it caused, we couldn't resist the allure of the rich aromas wafting from the neighbouring homes.
